Bank Strike: The All India Bank Employee Association has sent a notice on a bank strike. There will be many dates for this strike, ranging from December 4 to January 20.


A 13-day walkout by bank workers is scheduled for December 2023–January 2024. An announcement has been released by the All India Bank Employee Association about this. This announcement states that the strike will take place on a number of days between December 4 and January 20. Employees of the nation's banks will go on strike at this time. These are the days when bank workers will strike in December.


December 4: Punjab and Sindh Bank, SBI, and PNB

December 5th: Bank of India and Baroda

Canara Bank and the Central Bank of India on December 6.

December 7th: UCO Bank and Indian Bank

Union Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra on December 8.

December 11: A strike by private banks


On these days in January, there will be a strike.


January 2: In Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Puducherry, Andaman-Nicobar, and Lakshadweep, bank employees will go on strike.


January 3: All banks in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Dadar, Daman, and Diu would go on strike.


All banks in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh went on strike on January 4.


On January 5, workers at all banks in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh would go on strike.


All banks in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim went on strike on January 6.


January 19 and 20: All bank workers nationwide will go on strike on these two days.


This is what bank workers are requesting.


The banks have put out three requests. The first need in this is that all banks do sufficient award staff recruiting. The third demand is to prohibit the conditions and breaches of the BP settlement relating to outsourcing. The second demand is to halt outsourcing of permanent positions in banks.
