When Saini meets Modi, she discusses the Agniveer employment quota proposal with him

Chandigarh: Speaking with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his home in Delhi on Friday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced his decision to grant the Agnipath scheme's beneficiaries 10% horizontal reservation in government jobs, along with a 3-to 5-year age relaxation as well as interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh for self-employment.

The chief minister said that the prime minister had attentively listened to the Agniveer-centric state plans and expressed satisfaction that any Haryana business employing them at a rate above Rs 30,000 per month will get an annual subsidy of Rs 60,000.

He said that the PM has solicited input on the central programs' execution as well as the initiatives for the underprivileged. Afterwards, they spoke about the impending tasks and the assembly elections' preparations.

Saini said that the BJP was well-positioned to win Haryana third in the state for faster development and that the state was in line with the PM's goal of making India a developed nation. The chief minister said that the state has advanced in ten years with the quick development of four-lane and greenfield roads along with expressways at a news conference at Haryana Bhawan after his meeting with Modi.

In response to a query, the chief minister stated: "In the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition was unable to prevent Modi." The public is aware of the opposition's duplicity since it depends on falsehoods when there is no real topic to debate. Regarding the call for Dabwali to become a district, he said that his government had established a committee to determine if the location fit the requirements for a block or an area.

Rajeev Jaitly, the CM's media advisor, and D Suresh, the resident commissioner of Haryana in Delhi, were in attendance.
