Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged for no dispute over the matter and said that the gravity of the security lapse in Parliament cannot be understated amid opposition protests in the chamber.


During an interview with the Hindi newspaper Dainik Jagran, Modi said that the investigative authorities are looking into the event and implementing strict measures, but it's also important to find out who the real culprits are and why they did it.


According to the publication, he called the breach "painful and worrying".


"Efforts in a collective spirit to find a solution should also be made," he said. On such matters, everyone should refrain from fighting."


The Speaker is implementing the required actions with the highest seriousness, the Prime Minister said, emphasizing that "the seriousness of the incident that took place in Parliament should not be underestimated."


On December 13, two supporters of the opposing parties leaped from the audience gallery into the Lok Sabha floor and began demanding a statement from Amit Shah, the home minister. Shah's resignation has also been urged by a few members.


The administration has emphasized that the Lok Sabha Secretariat is in charge of maintaining security inside the Parliament complex and that it is acting on the Speaker's orders. It has also previously mentioned a number of these infractions and charged the opposition of politicizing the matter.


In response to a query about the Bharatiya Janata Party's selection of relatively unknown and recent figures as chief ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the leaders have a great deal of expertise and have worked very hard.


Taking a jab at those who doubt the Bharatiya Janata Party's decision, he said that it is the nation's sorrow that a sizable portion of individuals with societal power are constrained by restricted and stereotyped thinking.

The media's regrettable attention on a select few families over the last several decades has obscured the abilities and contributions of the newcomers.


He added that discussions are taking place.


"That's why you consider some people to be new," he remarked. However, the reality is that they are not novel. They have put forth a lot of effort and have personal experience."


Considering the allegations made by previous chief ministers Raman Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Vasundhara Raje, the chief ministers of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan, respectively, Vishnu Dev Sai, Mohan Yadav, and Bhajan Lal Sharma, were chosen by the BJP leadership.


Regarding the Supreme Court's ruling on Article 370, Modi said that "no power in the universe can bring it back" and that the court has approved the repeal of the article.


He said that the BJP was prepared to pull off another historic win in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, citing the party's outstanding showing in the most recent assembly elections. He advised the opposing sides to consider why people do not believe what they are saying.
