Senior Gabe Lopez caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Madden Sargent, including a 14-yard score in the last minute of the third quarter that gave the Lancers a 24-14 lead. With this victory, Westlake advanced to the second round where they will take on American Fork, the top seed.

On a 5-yard touchdown throw from Kyler Welch to Toula late in the third quarter, Bonneville increased their advantage to 24-14 from 17-14 at the half. Tyson Ferry's touchdown increased the margin to 28-0, and Dearden added two more touchdown passes in the last three and a half minutes of the second quarter to bring the score 42-0 at the half. Jordan scored its first points in the third quarter, but by that point the Stallions had already won the 4A quarterfinal and the damage had already been done. The Dons made a late fourth-quarter push, culminating in an 18-yard touchdown throw from Ryan Olsen to Tyson Mansfield, but the Bears were able to hold onto their advantage and secure the win.
