During an open scrimmage, fans may see Jazz up close

Fans were welcomed into the Delta Center on Saturday morning by the Utah Jazz.

At the Jazz's annual open scrimmage, spectators may watch the players for free while also listening to head coach Will Hardy's remarks and player on-court interviews.

Following the introduction of the whole roster to the public, Hardy addressed the crowd, promising a tenacious and devoted Jazz squad for the 2023–24 campaign.

Hardy said, "We're tough. We'll do a good job of representing this fan base.

Kris Dunn unfortunately couldn't play in the game because of his illness, but his influence was still felt. When asked who the team's hardest guy is, who the funniest person on the team is, and who the loudest player in the locker room is during interviews with various players on the sidelines, everyone immediately responded with Dunn's name.

Lauri Markkanen continued the pattern when he was asked what he liked most about living in Utah.

Markkanen laughed and said, "Kris Dunn is pretty good," before focusing on the audience. The mountains make you feel happy because of the people, the supporters, being outdoors. Everything is excellent here.

Many spectators were able to receive Hardy's signature and take pictures with other players. John Collins once engaged in a game of rock-paper-scissors with a young audience member. Later, Hardy and Walker Kessler also participated in the game of rock-paper-scissors.

Jordan Clarkson summoned the rookies Taylor Hendricks, Keyonte George, and Brice Sensabaugh to center court at the conclusion of the event so they could do some dance routines for the spectators. Everyone laughed and appreciated the performance.

The audience were treated to several entertaining highlight plays and up-close contacts with players, despite the fact that the scrimmage was hardly the most competitive game ever played on the floor at the Delta Center.
