Following his visit to Israel, Biden also said that while Israel had suffered much, it should look at ways to lessen the suffering of those in Gaza who were stuck there. Biden said, "And if they don't, they'll become accountable in ways that may be unfair," as he spoke to reporters on Wednesday while flying back from Israel on Air Force One.

Here are 10 things you should know about Biden's visit to Israel:

1. On Wednesday, Biden called with Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, his Egyptian counterpart, and they addressed the continued cooperation to provide humanitarian goods to Gaza as well as the protocols to make sure the help is delivered for the benefit of the civilian population. The two presidents agreed to work closely together to provide a prompt and forceful international response to the UN's appeal for humanitarian relief. President Biden wrote on X, "Together, we'll work to preserve tranquility in the region, prevent escalation, and set foundations for durable peace."

Israel was also addressed by US Vice President Joe Biden, who assured them that "freedom will triumph, not terrorists." "You provide so many people throughout the globe inspiration and brightness. The terrorists want to destroy it. because of the darkness they endure. not you however. Israel not. Conscience-driven nations like the US and Israel aren't only judged on their might. We are judged by the influence of our example.

5. The White House said on Wednesday that an evaluation by the United States demonstrated that Israel was not to blame for the strike on a Gaza hospital a day earlier. "The US government assesses than Israel couldn't have been responsible for an explosion that killed hundreds of civilians overnight at the Al Ahli Hospital in the Gaza Strip," said Adrienne Watson, spokeswoman for the White House National Security Council. "Our assessment was founded on available reporting, including cognitive ability, missile activity, overhead imagery, and publicly accessible source video and images of the incident," the official said.

6. Blinken also discussed Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas with the G7 nations. "In my conversations with my G7 colleagues, I underlined Israel's legal ability to protect itself against terrorist assaults by Hamas. Humanitarian supplies must be sent to citizens, and all captives must be freed, Blinken wrote on X.

7. He said that most Palestinians do not support Hamas. Furthermore, Hamas does not speak for the Palestinians.

8. US Vice President Joe Biden cautioned Israel on Wednesday not to commit the same errors that Washington did on September 11th. Israel views the most recent Hamas onslaught on its territory as its 9/11 moment, while Hamas refers to it as the Al Aqsa Flood.

9. Earlier, Biden said that information from the Pentagon revealed it was unlikely to be an Israeli military attack. In a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden said, "From what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you." However, he acknowledged that "a lot of people out there" were unsure of what caused the explosion, which spurred demonstrations throughout the Middle East.

10. It should be noted that after visiting Israel, Biden had initially planned to meet with King Abdullah of Jordan, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, and Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority. However, after the incident at the Gaza hospital, the conference was called off.

In the meanwhile, the White House said that the US President will give a prime time speech to the nation on Thursday, one day after his return from Israel, to express the country's position on the Hamas assaults on Israel and the Russia-Ukraine war. "Tomorrow, The vice president will address the whole country to discuss our response to Hamas' terrorist attacks into Israel and Russia's ongoing brutal war against Ukraine," announced White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. At 8:00 p.m. ET, she said, "This speech will be delivered that extends from the Oval Office." When the White House released the statement, Biden was in route home from Israel.
