The Varanasi Jharkhand News Yard remodelling project has begun, hence the Asansol-Varanasi MEMU Express has been suspended as of August 31. Numerous further trains have also been cancelled in addition to this. In light of this, Railways has determined to operate the Dhanbad-Dehri Son Intercity Express according to a modified timetable beginning on September 1. On September 1 and 2, the Dhanbad Alleppey Express will travel a new route.

  Jharkhand News: Asansol-Varanasi MEMU Express has been cancelled as of August 31 due to Varanasi's yard remodelling, which would begin on September 1. The cancellation of Asansol trains will continue from August 31 to October 15. 

From 1 September to 16 October, the return trip from Varanasi will continue to be cancelled.

These trains will receive additional carriages

Railways has declared that it will increase the number of coaches in the Kolkata-Madar and Kolkata-Bikaner Pratap Express in September due to the lengthy waiting list for trains travelling to Rajasthan.

The 19607 Kolkata-Madar Express and the 19608 Madar-Kolkata Express will each include a third AC carriage from September 7 to September 28.

From September 7 through September 28 for the 12495 Bikaner-Kolkata Pratap Express and from September 8 through September 29 for the 12496 Kolkata-Bikaner Pratap Express, a third AC carriage will be introduced. This will be advantageous to travellers.

Timings for Dhanbad-Dehri on Son Intercity have changed

Son Intercity Express will begin operating Dhanbad-Dehri at a new time starting on September 1. Currently, the 6:00 am train from Dhanbad will depart at 5:30 instead of 6:00.

There will be a modification in the schedule for this train from Tetulmari, Gomoh to Dehri on Sone since it will open before Dhanbad. The train that normally arrives in Dehri on Son at 12:35 pm will now do so at 12:25.

In connection with this, East Central Railway Headquarters has issued an order. The traffic jam at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay has led to the decision to alter the schedule. The Intercity Express' departure time from Dehri on Son to Dhanbad won't alter.

These two trains' service will also be impacted

On September 2, trains travelling from Gomo to Kharagpur and Adra to Bhaga will experience delays. According to South Eastern Railway, certain trains will continue to be cancelled because of the construction being done in the Adra Railway Division.

Instead of the final station, many trains will stop at the intermediate station. Adra to Midnapore and Barabhum trains as well as Asansol to Tata and Purulia trains would be impacted.

On September 2, the 08671 Adra-Bhaga Memu will run from Adra to Bhojudih.

08672 On September 2, the Bhaga-Adra MEMU will run between Bhojudih and Adra.

On September 2, the 18024 Gomoh-Kharagpur Express will travel from Gomoh to Bankura.

On September 2, the 18023 Kharagpur - Gomoh Express will travel from Bankura to Gomoh.

The route of the Alleppey Express has altered for today and tomorrow at Dhanbad. On September 1 and 2, Alleppey Express will operate on a modified itinerary. Due to current construction projects on the South Central Railway's Vijayawada Division, traffic has been blocked.

This would cause the 13351 Dhanbad Alleppey Express to be diverted from its intended itinerary of Nidadavolu, Eluru, and Vijayawada to Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada. At the stations of Tadepalligudem and Eluru, this train won't stop.
