On its 10th anniversary, Telegram makes Stories available to all users
On the occasion of the instant messaging app's tenth anniversary, Telegram is introducing a tales feature.
Today, the instant messaging service Telegram announced the debut of Stories, which includes a dual camera mode, adjustable duration settings, and other features. Prior to now, Stories was only available to paid subscribers.
The top of the Telegram client will now display Stories in an expanded portion so that users can still access the entirety of their conversation lists and folders. Users have the option to tap to share, privately respond, or react when viewing a story. You may press once to quickly "like" anything or hold down to see hundreds of possible responses.
dual camera setting
The front and back cameras on mobile devices may be used simultaneously to shoot images and videos in Telegram tales, and users can pick which camera feed appears where. This and the BeReal app are similar in many ways.
Privacy controls
Users can choose one of four privacy options when sharing a story: Everyone, My Contacts, Close Friends, and Selected Contacts. The user may adjust any of these choices to include or exclude visitors as desired.
Those who will never view a user's tale will also be visible to users. In order to prevent individuals from sharing tales with those who would not normally be able to see them, they can also disable screenshots.
Profile stories
Users have the option of generating tales that endure for 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours. Additionally, they have the option of posting them to their profile, where they will form a grid. Similar to Instagram's story highlights, both existing contacts and new connections may see these stories.
making story edits
Users of Telegram, in contrast to many other platforms, may change any part of their tale whenever they like. Without having to remove it and start again, they may alter its visibility, caption, on-screen text, stickers, or any other aspect. They only have to tap the or menu and select "Edit Story."
