This came after an inquiry conducted by an inter-ministerial committee constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2020. "Yes, the FCRA license of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation has been canceled after investigation against it," an official was quoted as saying by PTI.


Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi is the chairperson of the RGF, while other trustees include former prime minister Manmohan Singh, former finance minister P Chidambaram, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.


Why did the Center cancel the FCRA license of RGF?
