Those traveling on the 7:40 PM 'Yeh Dil Deewana' by Sonu Nigam from the movie Pardes was unexpectedly performed by Dadar's Borivali Slow, who drew the notice of the singer. The Instagram video has over 10 million views.

Up until it wasn't, it was just another ordinary everyday ride on one of Mumbai's local trains. A group of travelers sang "Yeh Dil Deewana" by Sonu Nigam, making an ordinary commute unforgettable. The 1997 song is from the Bollywood film Pardes, starring Amrish Puri, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shah Rukh Khan.

The singer himself responded to their impromptu jam session. "How lovely... makes me feel so happy. God bless all of you, Sonu Nigam exclaimed.

An Instagram user going by the name @the_minihaboo uploaded the video. Sharing the video, he remarked, "Art finds its place everywhere." The video is very close to reaching the 10-million milestone as I write this. The user's Instagram profile describes him as a creative director. "Trust me when I make a film, this will be the opening sequence," he said as the video's caption.

In a number of interviews, Sonu Nigam has said that "Yeh Dil Deewana" represents a turning point in his Bollywood career. It not only became an enormous success, but it also served as his comeback performance as a playback singer. With this song, Sonu created a brand-new vocal technique.

He was well-known for his Mohammed Rafi-like melodies prior to this. This song introduced the singer's rockstar persona to the public.

Pardes was SRK and director Subhash Ghai's second collaboration. Khan previously acted in the multi-star film Trimuti, which also starred Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor. Media sources state that Pardes, which cost ₹10 crore to make, grossed over ₹40 crore.
