Major two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp said on Sunday that, in collaboration with its distributor CG Motors, it has launched an assembly plant in Nepal. Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that the factory, which would have a capacity of 75,000 units annually, will bring new investments and employment possibilities to the area.

It also said that four recently introduced models, the Xoom 110 scooter, Super Splendor, Splendor+ motorbikes, and Xpulse 200 4V, would be locally built at a new assembly plant at Nawalparasi's CG Industrial Park.
