Businesses start promoting voting in the Lok Sabha Election of 2024


Voter registration campaigns, in which staff members get information and help to register to vote, are one of the tactics in use.

As the next Lok Sabha election approaches, businesses and organizations from all walks of life are stepping forward to encourage staff members to fulfill a crucial obligation and right: exercising their right to vote.


A general election to elect 543 members of the 18th Lok Sabha will take place in seven parts in 2024, from April 19 to June 1. On June 4, there will be a vote count.


In the first phase of the 2024 election, around 16.86 crore voters in 102 seats may cast ballots starting on Friday morning.

During the day, foreign students at Sharda University will greet the voters.

For ladies who are voting with small children, a model booth that includes all the amenities, including daycare facilities, has been constructed. Sharda University is also contacting other universities in Knowledge Park, an enclave in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, that is home to several educational institutions, in an effort to persuade young students to cast their ballots. In an attempt to encourage students and young people to vote, they also employ a variety of activities, such making posters and slogans, to advertise Vote Day on their social media platforms.


We will also be making special arrangements for older persons, such providing wheelchairs, since Sharda Hospital is next to the campus. The personnel at the hospital will provide support, Kumar said.
