Available for installation on all Lesley University-owned computers, Adobe Creative Cloud is now a part of the standard program package. Adobe Creative Cloud will now be pre-installed on all newly deployed PCs, much like Microsoft Office. Those who want installation assistance and already own a computer may request access to the suite of programs.

What you should be aware of

Do I really need Adobe Creative Cloud, and what is it?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of programs for web development, graphic design, video editing, and photography. If you do not presently do any of the aforementioned tasks, we do not advise installing the program. If someone isn't doing these kinds of operations as part of their core work duties, the whole suite of programs will take up a lot of needless system resources and storage space on the computer.

How can I make a software request?

If you would want help installing the program on your Leslie-issued computer, you may send an email to IT requesting assistance. Send an email to it@lesley.edu with your request.

What is the timeline for completing my request?

We value your patience as we give each help request top priority. In the order that we get installation requests, we will respond to them.

How much time does software installation take?

It takes around one and a half hours to install every program. A specialist may install the program remotely. To distribute the program to as many people as feasible as soon as possible, desktop installation will be completed remotely. If you have a laptop, the technician will connect remotely; otherwise, you may make an appointment to leave your computer.

Are there any discounts available for education on my desktop computer?

On top of receiving software on their Leslie-issued computers, core teachers and staff also get access to one extra personal computer for use at home. Teachers who teach adjunct courses may download Adobe Creative Cloud on their own computers.
