After making a tweet criticizing tech sector cutbacks, a software engineer lost his job. After tweeting about the harsh realities of the IT sector, a Bengaluru-based software worker lost his job. According to Money Control, Jishnu Mohan, an employee at Forma (previously Tweak), lost his job on February 8 of this year for disclosing his opinions on layoff patterns and other information on the IT sector.


I find the whole tech recession scenario unsettling. Probably at my lowest point of confidence in my career," Mohan, a four-year Forma employee, wrote on the X platform.


32,000 jobs are lost as a result of ongoing layoffs in the software sector.


Mohan posted job openings on social networking sites after this abrupt termination. Thankfully, they got back quickly from users, many of whom offered employment that were vacant and were prepared to help by sending their resumes.
