The IAS official said he was not even reimbursed the difference in ticket for the reduced seat and tagged the Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and the aviation regulator DGCA.


Ashwini Bhide, an IAS officer, shared her recent British Airways flight experience on social networking site X. Ashwini Bhide, whose ticket was demoted from premium class to economy under the guise of overbooking, accused the airline of racial attitudes. In response to his message, British Airways expressed regret for any trouble caused. "Hello, you are entitled to any difference in the ticket paid if you were degraded because of overbooking. The airline said in a statement, "Our customer relations team will investigate this and provide guidance on any reimbursement.


British Airways is criticized on social media as "absolutely pathetic."

Social media users had similar experiences and voiced their disgust with the airline's actions.
