The government has made available the central workers' vacation schedule for 2024. The federal workers now have the choice between two optional and fourteen mandatory vacations from the Modi administration.

The government has made available the central workers' vacation schedule for 2024. The federal workers now have the choice between two optional and fourteen mandatory vacations from the Modi administration. DOPT has issued an order in response to this.
Central staff' holiday schedule is publicized.
The holidays outlined in the decree shall be observed in all federal government offices located in Delhi and New Delhi starting in 2024. In addition, each employee will be permitted to take an additional two optional holidays from the list provided. The dates of the vacations for the Delhi and New Delhi offices on Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Zuha, Muharram, and Eid-e-Milad have not changed. This will depend on how visible the moon is.
Mandatory vacations
These holidays, with the exception of the three, will be observed mandatory at the central government offices.
