Elon Musk and the wife of the Brazilian PM argue about a hacked X account

The millionaire who runs the website previously known as Twitter, Janja, as he is known as President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's wife, accused the man on Wednesday of being sexist in his usage of his account last week. Irony was used to minimize hacking.

Rosangela da Silva, the First Lady of Brazil, has just joined social media.

The millionaire who runs the website previously known as Twitter, Janja, as he is known as President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's wife, accused the man on Wednesday of being sexist in his usage of his account last week. Irony was used to minimize hacking.

"He downplays a serious incident that affects not only me, but the thousands of women on his platform every day," she claimed in a press release.

The Brazilian media covered the Dec. 11 hack of the social media-obsessed first lady's account extensively after a hacker used the 1.2 million-follower profile to post offensive images and insults to the president.

Earlier this week, Janja made threats to sue the firm, saying it was taking too long to freeze his account, delete postings, and reply to his pleas for assistance in getting access back.

Elon Musk, who finished acquiring the platform last year, said on Wednesday that his business is not at fault.

In response to an account that raised the possibility of legal action, he commented in a post, "It's unclear how nobody guessed her email password, it's our responsibility."

Janja described the response as "characteristic" of Musk, who often engages in heated debates with detractors on the platform.

"I did not say it was X's duty towards someone to 'guess' my account password, but it should be the service's responsibility to take action as quickly as is feasible when crimes occur within it," he said in the statement. Will keep asking questions on stage and demanding answers.
