 Weather update: strong hailstorm spreads throughout South Rajasthan, making Delhi colder; IMD issues an advisory for the next three days



According to the Meteorological Department (Weather Update Today), much of northwest and central India will likely see a steady decline in minimum temperature over the next three days, of two to three degrees Celsius, meaning that the cold will persist. On Tuesday, there's a chance for further rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Fishermen should be aware of the advisory from the Meteorological Department.



Delhi, New. Weather Update: Over the last 24 hours, Delhi and Haryana have had light to heavy rain, thunder, high winds, and hailstorms. Due to inclement weather on Monday evening, at least 16 planes at Delhi Airport were rerouted to Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, and Amritsar.



We can assure you that the weather will much improve from Tuesday. In addition, IMD has forecast that starting on Wednesday, Central India's nighttime temperature would drop by two to three degrees Celsius.



There will be thunder and rain, and a strong hailstorm will cause a white sheet to form on the road.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre reports that isolated thunderstorms and light to moderate rain are expected today across the districts of Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Mayiladuthurai, Aryalur, Perambalur, Vellore, and Tirupattur. In isolated areas of the districts of Tiruvallur, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, Ranipet, Thoothukudi, and Ramanathapuram, there will be mild rain.



In the last 24 hours, hailstorms have covered roadways in South Rajasthan (Jalore), West Madhya Pradesh (Ratlam, Ujjain, Khargone, and Jhabua), Central Maharashtra (Nashik), Marathwada (Aurangabad), and Gujarat with a white coating, according to IMD. For all of them, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning.



Tamil Nadu | Today, isolated locations across Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Mayilduthurai, Aryalur, Perambalur, Vellore, and Tirupattur districts are expected to see a thunderstorm with mild to moderate rain, while Thiruvallur, Chennai, and Chengalpattu are likely to get light rain.



What three-day forecast is there for the weather?

According to the meteorological service, during the course of the next three days, minimum temperatures across the majority of northwest and central India are predicted to progressively decrease by two to three degrees Celsius, resulting in a rise in cold. On Tuesday, there's a chance for further rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.



IMD predicts that for the next two days, there will likely be mild to moderate fog in a few isolated areas of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. In addition, during the following three days, heavy rain is expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and mild rain in the southern states.



Fishermen are issued a warning

Fishermen should be aware of the advisory from the Meteorological Department. It has been warned not to travel into the neighboring central Bay of Bengal, and the IMD reports that there will be severe weather across the South Andaman Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 28–29), southeast Bay of Bengal from Wednesday to Friday (November 29–30), and southwest.



In Uttarakhand, the mercury plummeted

In Uttarakhand, the weather has abruptly changed. The upper regions of Pithoragarh, such as Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Hemkund Sahib, have seen snowfall, which has caused a decrease in temperature across the state. Snow is expected to fall on Tuesday and Wednesday. For this location, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning.
