A rain alert was issued by the IMD on Sunday for early Monday morning in many regions of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and south-west Madhya Pradesh. The Mumbai Regional Meteorological Center had earlier issued a storm warning for Sunday that was expected to bring heavy rain to many areas of Maharashtra. It is forecast to rain heavily in the districts of Palghar Dhule and Nandurbar. There are forecasts for thunderstorms with lightning in the districts of Pune and Ahmednagar.

Madhya Pradesh will have moderate clouds, while Himachal Pradesh and North Central Maharashtra will see intense to very intense clouds.
