Tata Motors sold 82,954 units overall in October, a 5.89% increase
Following a 6% increase to 76,537 units in October 2022, the total domestic sales last month were 80,825 units, according to a regulatory filing from Tata Motors.
Tata Motors said on Wednesday that its October 2023 overall sales increased by 5.89% to 82,954 units from 78,335 units in the same month the previous year. It also said that sales of passenger cars, including electric vehicles, in the domestic market increased by 7% to 48,337 units from 45,217 units in the same month last year.
Tata Motors said that overall sales of electric passenger vehicles in both domestic and foreign markets were 5,465 units in May of this year, up 28% from 4,277 units in the same month previous year.
It noted that compared to October 2022, its overall sales of commercial vehicles increased by 4% last month to 34,317 units from 32,912 units.
