Changes to the Metro line are exciting news for riders! This metro's route will change; see details

The Greno West Metro project will begin construction within six months, if a compromise is obtained on the revised route. Prior to this, NMRC had requested permission from the Central Ministry to link Greno West Metro's DPR to the FOB via a shared platform.

NMRC New Plan: Greater Noida West Metro is thinking of implementing a new route. This option is visible from the Blue Line's Sector-61 metro station. The possibility of looking at a new route has been approved by Noida Metro Rail Corporation. DMRC has also been requested by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry to explore an alternative path. This investigation has already begun. The analysis of the proposed route has made it evident that the metro would take a detour and grow to be 2.5 km long if Greater Noida Metro is linked to Sector-61.

DMRC has a month to submit their report.

DMRC has been granted a month to submit the revised route report. The Greno West Metro project won't begin for at least six months, even if an agreement is made on the new route. Prior to this, NMRC had requested permission from the Central Ministry to link Greno West Metro's DPR to the FOB via a shared platform. However, this was rejected. As a result, Greno West Metro's DPR was overshadowed even before it was approved.

Metro will go through a neighborhood.

According to NMRC authorities, the Aqua Line's extension from Sector-51 to Sector-61 metro station of the Blue Line is being considered in light of this issue. Should this idea prove to be effective, it may be advanced and integrated with Sector 123. The metro pillar may also enter the residential area from the other side. Passengers traveling to Greno will take the same amount of time once this route is finished. In actuality, the sky walk from Sector 51 to 52 would have taken longer if the DPR's suggested route had been approved.

Sector-51 will now need to be extended to Sector-61 in accordance with the proposed route. Returning to Sector-52 is necessary in order to get to Delhi. However, the benefit of this is that passengers won't have to descend off the platform. The construction of a skywalk to link the Sector-51 and Sector-52 metro stations is now underway. Upon completion of the skywalk, thousands of NMRC and DMRC passengers will have access to the facility.
