The minister said that the state government will develop a thorough plan by the end of the month to improve the employability of young people in Karnataka.


The minister said that the goal is to provide skill development training to the younger generation in order to prepare them for employment in IT businesses.

On November 10, Karnataka IT-BT Minister Priyank Kharge said that the state's 100 engineering institutions will be connected to 100 top IT firms.


The goal is to provide skill development training in order to prepare the younger generation for employment in IT firms. He went on to say that students would be prepared for the workforce via the designation of 100 engineering institutions as skill centers.


At the Information Technology Consultation Committee, Kharge also had talks with State Medical Education as well as Skill Development Minister Shran Prakash Patil. Patil said that there is a good chance that individuals with the right abilities will get employment in Bengaluru's many IT organizations.


He said that because there are many employment in fields like gaming, animation, artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, drones, and other fields, training programs should be developed to prepare young people for these careers. To allow the training of local youngsters, the government must appropriately alter its teaching and training program to meet business demands for skilled labor.


Despite the high need for competent personnel, top executives from IT businesses who were present at the conference said that they struggle to provide career possibilities to young people in the area. According to a statement from the minister's office, they believed that the program will assist prepare young people with technical educational degrees for careers in the information technology industry by offering skill development training.


Working groups throughout AI-ML, Blockchain, Data Scientist, Electronic Manufacturing, Semicon Testing & Manufacturing, Women in Emerging Technologies: EmpowerHER in Tech, Animation/Gaming/AR-VR, robots & Autonomous, BPM/BPOs, Banking, Accounting & Management, etc., Software Development (DevOps, Java, Cybersecurity, etc.), and Fintech have been established."
