Speaking in favor of Palestine in 1977, Atal Bihari Vajpayee said, "Israel will have to withdraw from occupied land."

Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former prime minister of India and head of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), spoke in favor of Palestine and asked that Israel "vacate the land" at a meeting that took place over 46 years ago.

The video has reappeared in the midst of the current conflict between Israel and Gaza-based Hamas forces. The Benjamin Netyanhu administration issued an order for the total closure and seizure of Gaza in retribution after Hamas militants launched a complex surprise strike on Israel on Saturday. The Israeli defense minister gave the order to shut off Gaza's access to gas, food, water, and power.

The late Prime Minister Vajpayee is heard declaring, "Israel will have for leaving the land occupied by the Arabs," in a 1977 Prasar Bharati film that has emerged online.

When Goswami says, "Akramankari, akraman ke phalon ka upbhog karein yeh apne sambandh mein humein sweekar nahin hain," it can be heard him speaking in Hindi. Wo auro par bhi lagu hoga, to jo niyam hum par lagu hain. The phrase "Arbo ki zameen" is used. Unke uchit adhikaro ki prasthapna hona chahiye, Jo Philippini. Israel's astitva is the Soviet Union, America, and it has never been sworn to secede.

"It is rumored that the Janata Party has formed the government," asserts Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It will back Israel rather than the Arabs. The matter has been made clear by respected Morarji Bhai. To clear up any confusion, I'd want to clarify that I want each issue to be evaluated in light of its strengths and shortcomings. However, it is obvious that Israel will need to leave the Arab country it is occupying in the Middle East.

We do not believe that the invader should reap the benefits of their invasion, he said. Therefore, the same laws that govern us also govern others. The Arabs' homeland ought to be abandoned.

In a country that has been plagued by violence for decades, the late Prime Minister Vajpayee also fought for peace. ""A solution to a Middle East's problems will have to be found which can eliminate hostilities and become the basis of permanent peace." He said.

In the video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a later Prime Minister from Vajpayee's party, speaks in favor of the lives lost in Israel despite divergent beliefs. Over 1300 people have been murdered in horrible assaults by both sides in Gaza, and the world has been split between supporting Israel and that region.
