Israel has completely shut off Gaza's access to water, power, and food after a Hamas onslaught

Following a terror assault by Hamas early on Saturday that left more than 700 Israeli citizens dead, dozens kidnapped, and more than 2,100 wounded, Israeli officials on Monday imposed a "complete siege" and a "immediate" cutoff to the Gaza Strip's water supply.

According to his spokeswoman, Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz has ordered "to immediately cut the water supply to Gaza," according to PTI.

Katz's directive came shortly after Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant imposed a "complete siege" on the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, which gets 10% of its water from Israel annually, according to the source.

"Gaza will be completely besieged, I've ordered. No food, gasoline, or power will be given to Gaza. Gallant was cited by PTI as stating, "We are fighting barbaric [terrorists] and will respond accordingly."

According to the research, a move like this would have a significant impact on the 2.3 million residents of Gaza, who rely heavily on Israel for their basic needs.

The "complete siege" of the Gaza Strip occurs in the midst of Israeli airstrikes that are said to have killed close to 500 Palestinians.

For the last two days, the streets of Gaza have seemed to be virtually abandoned, and apprehensive commoners have been observed attempting to stockpile necessities while speculating on the impending brutal strike.

Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, a spokesman for Hamas, today said that Israel's retaliatory bombardment of the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of four Israeli captives.

In the assault, which got underway on Saturday, Hamas and Islamic Jihad captured more than 100 Israelis, including elderly, young, and children.

"The occupation’s bombing today and yesterday on the Gaza Strip led to the assassination of four enemy prisoners including the martyrdom of their captors, hamas Qassam Mujahideen," according to reports, Abu Obeida.

Since Saturday, the Israeli defense minister Gallant has been giving dire warnings of a lengthy battle.

"Today, we saw the wicked face. The terrorist group Hamas has started an indiscriminate, cruel assault on the people of the State of Israel. Victims include men, women, children, and old people. Soon after the vicious assaults, Gallant predicted that Hamas would realize it had made a grievous error and would pay a [severe] price.

"Fifteen years ago, when I oversaw the Southern Command, I was on the verge of 'cracking the neck' of Hamas. The upper echelons of politics stopped me. This occurrence won't last forever. For the next 50 years, we will alter the situation on the ground in Gaza. What was before won't exist anymore. We will work hard," Gallant continued.
