 Rajasthan Elections: BJP announces initial list, fields seven MPs out of 41 contenders. Make a list

For the 2019 Rajasthan assembly elections, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its first list of candidates. Assembly elections in Rajasthan will take place on November 23 and the results will be released on December 3 according to a Monday announcement by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Diya Kumari, an MP for Rajsamand, and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, an MP for Jaipur Rural, are two of the seven BJP lawmakers running in the Rajasthan Assembly elections. 

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, a prominent member of the BJP, will run from Jhotwara, while Kirodi Lal Meena will run from Sawai Madhopur, Baba Balaknath from Tijara, Hansraj Meena from Sapotra, and Diya Kumari from Vidhyadhar Nagar.

Rathore will run from Jhotwara, also in the Jaipur district, while Diya Kumari will run from the Vidhyadhar Nagar seat in Jaipur.

The BJP put Bablu Chaudhury from the Jhunjhunu seat on the ballot. One of the critical fifty-one seats to keep an eye on during the forthcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections in November is this one. 

Jat leader Sis Ram Ola served the district three times, and since 2008, his son Brijendra Ola has won. Here is where Narottam Lal (Congress), the first Assembly Speaker of Rajasthan, was born. Sumitra Singh, a different previous Speaker, won this election six times, four of them as a candidate for the Congress.

In addition, the BJP ran Subhash Maharia in Laxmangarh. Intriguingly, the BJP has only ever won here once, in 2003. Govind Singh Dotasra, the president of the Rajasthan Congress, has held the position since 2008.

According to a BJP official, the central electoral committee of the party has accepted the names of 41 candidates.

It is important to note that no current BJP leaders from the Vasundhara Raje wing of the party have been included in the list due to a dispute with the previous chief minister of Rajasthan.

Elections for Rajasthan's 200-member legislature will be held on November 23.
