Qualification for Guides and Scouts

Qualifications in education

A 50% grade from an accredited board in the 12th grade or its equivalent is required for the Group C position. The SC, ST, ex-servicemen, and crippled category applicants are not need to get fifty percent of the possible points. On the other hand, an applicant seeking an appointment in the Clerk/Typesetter category must be able to type 30 words per minute in English. Candidates for the former Group D positions must have completed an ITI or an equivalent program and passed the Class 10 test from an accredited board of education.

Maximum age

The minimum and maximum ages for candidates seeking Level 2 positions in this Railway recruiting are 18 and 23, respectively. On the other hand, candidates for Level 2 must be at least 18 years old and no older than 33. The calculation of age will begin on January 1, 2024.

Will get pay

Candidates would be assigned Level-2 (7th CPC) for Group C (Level-2) positions (Pay Matrix Rs 19900 to 63200)

Candidates will be awarded Level-1 (7th CPC) (Pay Matrix Rs 18000 to 56900) for the old Group D (Level-1) positions.
