According to statistics from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 162 around 6 am, while according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), Delhi's AQI level is now 173.


In Delhi, PM 10 levels were 161 and PM 2.5 levels were 82. On October 21, the India Meteorological Department forecast generally clear sky and reported a temperature of 17.2 degrees Celsius. In the NCR area, today's high and low temperatures are forecast to be 32 and 16 degrees Celsius, respectively. 


Delhi reported a high temperature of 31.1 degrees Celsius on October 20, which is a little lower than the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department.


Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium had an air quality index (AQI) of 190, which is in the moderate range, according to statistics from the Central Pollution Control Board. With an AQI of 152, the CRRI Mathura Road station observed fair air quality. ITO station measured an AQI of 191, which is considered moderate. With an AQI of 176, Mandir Marg station reported average air quality.


Poor air quality was observed in places including Burari, where the AQI was 275, Dwarka Sector-8, where it was 251, Jahangirpuri, where it was 263, Rohini, where it was 247, and Wazirpur station, where it was 235.According to CPCB, Anand Vihar station too had poor air quality, with an AQI of 239.


According to CPCB statistics, an air quality index (AQI) of 0 to 50 is deemed "good," 51 to 100 "satisfactory," 101 to 200 "moderate," 201 to 300 "poor," 301 to 400 "very poor," and 401 to 500 "severe."
