Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, where many wounded people and other Palestinians were finding sanctuary on Tuesday, was shaken by a huge explosion. According to the Health Ministry under Hamas's authority, hundreds of people died. 


While the Israeli military blamed a missile that Palestinian militants had accidentally discharged, Hamas said the event was the result of an Israeli attack. Southern Hamas was the source of several hostages captured by Hamas. These consist of activists, caretakers, senior citizens, etc. 




Here is the complete list of hostages. 


1) Following a Hamas rocket assault on Israel on October 7, a total of 10 members of one household vanished. According to The Guardian, the family includes Sharon Avigdori and her daughter Noam Avigdori, as well as Lilach Kipnis and her husband Eviatar, Shoshan Haran (Lilach's sister), Avshalom Haran (Shoshan's husband), their daughter Adi Shoham and her partner Tal Shoham, as well as their children Naveh and Yahel Shoham. 


2) "Should I shed a tear considering they're already gone?" Yonat Or's brother, Ahal Besorai, enquired. Along with her husband Dror and two of their three children, Yonat Or, 50, went missing. 


Vivian Silver, a feminist activist of Canadian descent, was also reported missing from the kibbutz. The justice-seeker demanded peace with the Palestinians. She is a wonderful mother and grandma, according to her son Yonatan Zeigen, who spoke to AFP.


4) Alex Dancyg, a Holocaust historian, vanished from the Nir-oz kibbutz. According to The Guardian, the 75-year-old historian has published volumes on the systematic killing of Jews during World War II and Poland's Jewish community.


5) A social worker named Ditza Heiman was also seized from the kibbutz of Nir-oz. She was essential to communal life. Her family referred to Heiman as a "woman of peace" and a cherished great-grandmother.
