Kangana Ranaut will be the first woman to set a Ravana effigy on fire in Delhi during Dussehra 2023

Actress Kangana Ranaut will burn the Ravan effigy at the renowned Lav Kush Ramlila, Red Fort Ground, Delhi, today, October 24, being the first woman to do so. The Bollywood actress sent a message on her official Instagram account.

This will be the first time a woman has set the effigy of Ravana on fire in the event's fifty-year history, which has taken place every year at the Red Fort. Kangana Ranaut sent a message on social media with the words "Jai Shri Ram."

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, and VK Saxena, the lieutenant president, will also attend.

According to Arjun Kumar, president of the Lav Kush Ramleela Committee, "this year, simultaneously with the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, as well as Meghnath, effigies of anti-Sanatan forces will be among those burned in Delhi."

According to ANI sources, the committee made their choice in favor of the Women's Reservation Bill, which was approved by Parliament in September.

Since the country's prime minister usually performs the Ravan Dahan but is preoccupied with the elections this year, the Lav Kush Ramlila council decided to invite them.

The Luv Kush Ram Leela Committee, Dharmik Ram Leela Committee, along with Nav Dharmik Ram Leela Committee are hosting three huge Ramlilas in Delhi. Since October 15 to October 25, these celebrations have been going on in Madhav Das Park and 15th August Park in front of the Red Fort, starting at 6:00 pm each day.

While this is going on, Kangana is busy promoting her upcoming action movie, "Tejas," which follows the extraordinary journey of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot. The movie aims to inspire and instill a strong sense of national pride in every Indian by demonstrating how the pilots of the Indian Air Force work tirelessly to defend our country while overcoming numerous obstacles.

On October 27, 2023, the movie, which was written, directed, and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, will open in theaters. In addition, Kangana has 'Emergency' in her repertoire.
