IMD Weather Update: Because of the cyclonic storm "Tej," which is moving quickly in the direction of the north-west, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning to fishermen, advising them not to go into the Arabian Sea.


Today's weather update: All of North India, including the capital Delhi, has begun to experience cold. Additionally, in the next days, the cold will become worse. For the next five days, Delhi and Lucknow will see an upsurge in fog, according to the Meteorological Department. In addition to this, several parts of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, and UP have reported a chance of rain. In addition to this, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have received a rain warning.

The Meteorological Department provided information, stating that on Monday, the city's air quality was rated as "poor." At midday, the city's air quality index (AQI) was 292 points.


AQI values between 0 and 50 are generally regarded as "good," 51 to 100 as "satisfactory," 101 to 200 as "moderate," 201 to 300 as "bad," 301 to 400 as "very bad," and 401 to 500 as "severe."


A warning has been issued about cyclone "Tej"


The Meteorological Department predicts that on October 24 and 25, there will be light to moderate rain in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura, and a heavy rain warning has been issued in select areas. In addition, mild to moderate rain has been forecast for a few locations in the coastal regions of West Bengal and Odisha. Today there is a chance of rain in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand's mountainous regions.


On the other hand, an alert for fishermen has been issued about cyclonic storm "Tej," which is traveling toward the north-west. The South-West Arabian Sea and the West Central Arabian Sea should not be entered until October 25 and the evening of October 25, respectively, according to an IMD advisory.
