 ICC World Cup 2023: The India vs. England match is today. Check the route diversions here, according to Lucknow police

For the India vs. England 2023 ICC World Cup match, which is set for today, October 29, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, the Lucknow Police Commissionerate implemented special traffic plans and security protocols. These road closures and detours for vehicles will be in place from 8:00 AM until the end of the game.

All commercial vehicles, including buses, will not be allowed to enter Shaheed Path during game hours. On the other hand, private vehicles and taxis will be free to utilize the other roads.

For the aforementioned vehicles, traffic on Sultanpur Road will be rerouted via Amul Tiraha. Cars coming from Arjunganj will have to use the Kattai Bridge instead.

City Coaches

There will be around fifty municipal buses running throughout the game. Buses on Shaheed Path between Jusdiya and Sushant Golf City will not be permitted to stop. 

During the game, cars and E-rickshaws are not allowed to enter Shaheed Path. Vehicles like as cars, taxis, and buses arriving from Arjunganj will be redirected via PHQ UP-112 towards Ahimamau. They will then go behind the Maternity Hospital and further by G-20 Tiraha towards Gomtinagar.

Passengers on Shaheed Path between Hoodia and Sushant Golf City cannot be boarded or disembarked by buses, auto rickshaws, taxis such as Ola and Uber, and others. To board or offload passengers, these vehicles from Sultanpur Road would be rerouted to Lulu Mall.

Private automobiles

Owners of vehicles with a valid permit may use Water Tank Tiraha to access HCL and park at the Chilit parking area.

Different one-way routes will be assigned in order to efficiently handle traffic.

Access to certain stands will only be granted to those who own a ticket. On match day, there won't be a ticket sales counter at the stadium; instead, guests are encouraged to bring their copies of the tickets in order to enter. Entry will close at 8:30 PM, with the final entry accepted up to three hours before to the commencement of the game. Those who leave during the game will not be allowed back into the stadium.
