Even with just half-full theaters, Thalapathy Vijay's flick Leo reaches the 200 crore exclusive club on Day 3 at the box office

Day 3 box office results for Leo: Tamil super-star Thalapathy Vijay's action-thriller 'Leo' is having trouble maintaining box office figures due to declining bookings, and Manobala Vijayabalan has said that October 22 is the last day for a recovery in the international market.

Leo is anticipated to make $40.00 crore net in India for all languages, according to early projections. The movie made 139.71 crores net in three days in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The movie made 40 crores in total on its third day in theaters. In addition to English, it is also accessible in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie got off to a strong start at the box office, earning $64.8 on its first day. On October 21, Leo scored a 72.62% total Tamil occupancy rate in theaters. Leo is the film that Lokesh and Vijay have made the most money from in the US. It is now Kollywood's seventh-highest-grossing movie of all time.

Film trade expert Manobala Vijayabalan announced that Joseph Vijay's movie has joined the exclusive 200 crore club in a social media post on platform X. He said that the film's success the next day would be vital, and that the recovery in foreign markets would thereafter present difficulties. Leo has reportedly earned 204.82 crore in total globally, according to him.

Sumit Kadel, a film industry expert, said on X that "Leo Producers Lack of Interest & National Chain Plexes 4 Weeks OTT Policy has Cost Leo 40- 50 Cr Business in the Hindi Market Alone."

Leo broke all previous records for a Tamil movie's first day at the box office by raking in 148.50 crores, making it the greatest opening for a Tamil movie in both the local and foreign markets.

Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja are among the cast members of Leo. The Madras High Court granted special permission to Seven play Studios Production to play the movie in Tamil Nadu's theaters as early as 4 am on the day of release in order to guarantee a big opening.
