The station is being built with a 12,000-person capacity, according to the agency. The next 50 years have been taken into consideration when creating the complete design. The new train station will include amenities similar to those found at airports. The previous structure will be destroyed.


The new station will include two stories, a plaza, a drop-off point, a business area, 100 retiring rooms on either side, and seating for 2500 people.


Commercial space will be on 3,000 square feet. The station will also receive 17 elevators and 19 escalators.


Like a metro station, entry will only be permitted to ticket holders

In the new railway station, where sensors will be put like in metro stations, such arrangements are being built. In which only people with tickets will be permitted entry. Each ticket will contain a barcode that will identify the passengers who can enter the station.

The Durga Puja pandal will have its own designated area at the train station, per the MP's directions. He claimed that there is perpetual contention over the Puja pandal. Therefore, someplace at the station should be set aside for the construction of a pandal while keeping the religion in mind.


Separate tracks and parking spaces will be created for each vehicle, in addition to creating a play area for young children and a feeding room for women. At the station, there will be multilevel parking available.


For taxis, private cars, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers, there will be different lanes. Police stations should have positions in both the north and south of the station, according to MLA CP Singh. He assured the passengers that the station will have cutting-edge amenities.
