 DGP wants to reduce crime in the Bokaro and Dhanbad coal belts


Bokaro: Jharkhand's director general of police (DGP), Ajay Kumar, called a high-level review conference on Sunday at his home in Bokaro to discuss ways to improve security and reduce criminal activity in the coal-rich areas of Bokaro and Dhanbad. High-ranking police officers attended the meeting, including ADG for operations Sanjay Anand Lathekar, ADG for headquarters Murari Lal Meena, ADG for training Priya Dubey, IG for training Manoj Kaushik, IG for human rights Akhilesh Kumar Jha, IG for CID, IG for special branch Prabhat Kumar, DIG for personnel A Vijayalakshmi, DIG for budget, and SP CID. The meeting also included the DIG for the Cold Belt Region, Kanhaiya Mayur Patel, the SSP for Dhanbad, Sanjeev Kumar, and the SP for Bokaro, Alok Priyadarshi.




The meeting's main topic of conversation was crime in Dhanbad and Bokaro, with an emphasis on how to identify it. The DGP stated that specific orders were given to identify persons participating in such activities during the meeting's discussion of tactics for combating organized crime and economic crime.He asserted that it is crucial to carry out these regional assessments in order to analyze and address crimes inside the districts. 


He emphasized the efforts that are still being made to attack organized crime, saying that a list of criminals has been created and that continued coordination with district officials is being done to tackle the problem.The top official responded to inquiries regarding the known felon Prince Khan in Dhanbad by assuring that both state and other agencies were actively looking into the problem. He also discussed the creation of a task team to deal with financial crimes and illicit activities in the area.

There were celebrations in Balidih as well, as worshippers displayed idols along the railway divisions.
