News from Jamshedpur Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) terrorist Abdul Rehman Katki was hauled before a court in Jamshedpur on Friday. He appeared before Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay, Additional District Sessions Judge. He was taken here from Tihar Jail by the Delhi Police. Numerous serious accusations have been made against him, including urging young people to commit treason in the name of Jihad.




Abdul Rehman Katki, a suspected Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) terrorist, made an appearance before Additional District Sessions Judge Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay on Friday. In the late afternoon, Delhi Police located him in Jamshedpur from Tihar Jail.


The case that was reported to the Bishtupur police station is currently being heard.

The Jamshedpur Bishtupur police station's case against him is now being heard. Abdul Sami, his accomplice, is incarcerated at Jamshedpur's Ghaghidih Central Jail.


On June 24, a production warrant was used to transport Abdul Sami, a native of Dhatkidih in the Bishtupur police station area of Jamshedpur, from Delhi's Tihar Jail, where he was then produced before a Jamshedpur court.


In the Jamshedpur court, the case against both of them is now being heard. The Special Cell of Delhi detained Abdul Sami on January 18, 2016, in Mewat, Haryana.


In these situations, a FIR has been filed

Abdul Rehman Katki has previously been detained in Odisha. On January 25, 2016, a FIR was filed at the Bishtupur police station against Abdul Sami, Abdul Rehman Katki, Maulana Kalimuddin, Abdul Masood, and Naseem for their alleged involvement with Al Qaeda, the group's growth, and their incitement of youngsters to commit jihad and sedition.


Jharkhand ATS is investigating the situation

Jharkhand ATS is now probing into the situation. On February 13, 2023, Abdul Masood was found guilty merely of having illegal firearms in the Jamshedpur court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Sanjay Kumar Upadhyay, while Naseem Akhtar alias Raju was cleared and given the go-ahead to leave custody. The court condemned Abdul Masood to eight years in jail and a fine of Rs 10,000 on February 23, 2023.


He received an appeal bail in the case from the Jharkhand High Court. He was let go. On September 16, 2017, the ATS detained Mango resident Maulana Kalimuddin at Tatanagar railway station. He is now free on bail. The complaint against him has been filed.
