The Ayushman Bharat Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana would be beneficial to the 83 thousand women cooks and coordinators working under the PM Poshan (Midday Meal) initiative in Jharkhand. K.K. In order to get Ayushman cards created in the primary health centres of each block, the Secretary has instructed all district superintendents of education to get in touch with the civil surgeons of their respective districts.


He has requested that the local health centre for each block set a date for the cook's application to be received. Each block in a month will have three specified dates.

Additionally, in order to ensure that the mid-day meal is unaffected, a cook from each school will visit the primary health centre on one date and submit an application.


He has requested that the Sankul Sadhan Sewis give the DSE a list of all the female chefs who do not yet have Ayushman cards.


The block education extension officials will designate the nodal officer, who will help the cook with this.


The report is due in October

In any case, the secretary has instructed all of the cooks to order their cards in September and turn in their report during the first week of October.
