Ranchi Illegal Mining: Attempt to steal a phone from an ED officer results in summonses being issued to the suspect

Near the Jharkhand High Court, someone tried to steal an ED officer's smartphone. The accused, however, was unsuccessful due to the presence of other ED employees and security personnel who were on the scene almost away. Both Vijay Hansda and Vishnu Yadav, who were present, have been summoned by the ED and called in for interrogation. The entire situation is connected to Sahibganj's 1000 crores worth of illicit mining.

In Ranchi, someone tried to steal an ED officer's cellphone near the Jharkhand High Court. The accused did not, however, leave the area when other ED representatives and security personnel arrived on the scene.

Both Vijay Hansda and Vishnu Yadav, who were present, have been summoned by the ED and called in for interrogation. The entire situation is connected to Sahibganj's 1000 crores worth of illicit mining.

Observed alongside Vishnu Yadav is Vijay Hansda

ED used Vijay Hansda as a witness, but ED is aware that he is becoming hostile. ED knew that the accused of illicit mining had been met by him.

In connection with a case, ED officials visited the Jharkhand High Court. While there, they noticed Vijay Hansda and illegal mining suspect Vishnu Yadav close to the High Court.

He and his guys attempted to take the ED officer's cellphone as he began recording his footage.

Other ED cops and security personnel arrived at the scene after the aforementioned ED officer reported this to his headquarters. Both of them have received summonses from ED authorities at the same time. ED will now question him.

The petition was not withdrawn by the court

A hearing was held on the withdrawal of Vijay Hansda's petition calling for a probe into illicit mining in Sahibganj in this location in the court of Jharkhand High Court Justice SK Dwivedi. The court declined to permit the withdrawal of the aforementioned petition after hearing the ED's argument.

This is a severe concern, the court ruled. There is a case under investigation involving state officials who hold high-ranking positions.

The petition cannot be permitted to be withdrawn, and the writ petition filed in support of it is rejected since it first looks that the petitioner is doing so under duress.

The security of the family

The state's administration has been ordered by the court to give the applicant's family security. Senior solicitors JP Jha and SS Chaudhary informed the court that Vijay Hansda did not file the aforementioned petition at the hearing on his behalf.

When the petition was submitted, he was incarcerated as part of a case. He is not familiar with the petitioner's or defendant's attorneys, and when Vijay Hansda inquired about the matter at the High Court, he too got threats.

His life is in risk. In this case, the petitioner should be given security in addition to authorization to withdraw the petition. The ED rejected this and said that unlawful mining was taking place in Sahibganj. ED is looking into this. The aforementioned petition shouldn't be permitted to be withdrawn given the gravity of the situation.

Vijay Hansda received a threat

Let me inform you that Vijay Hansda, an ED witness who is looking into a case of illicit stone mining worth Rs 1000 crore in Sahibganj under money laundering, has received death threats.

Vijay Hansda has filed a formal complaint in this case with the Dhurva police station in Ranchi. He claims that Sahibganj residents Ashok and Mukesh Yadav threatened him. The accusers have threatened to hurt people en route to Sahibganj while they are on their way back.

The village chief of Bhawani Chowki in Sahibganj's Mandaro zone is Vijay Hansda. In the illegal mining case, in which Vijay Hansda had been called as a witness, the ED had searched Sahibganj the previous year.

He also blamed the police, and Sahibganj police put him in jail for violating the Arms Act. According to Vijay Hansda, a case was filed against Pankaj Mishra, Vishnu Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, Sumesh Mandal, Rajesh Yadav, Pavitar Yadav, and others after he filed a complaint.

He has received repeated pressure to take up this matter. Additionally, he said that the Sahibganj police had generated a document withdrawing the aforementioned case after obtaining his signature on a simple piece of paper. While incarcerated, Vijay Hansda had opposed it. Then ED recorded Vijay Hansda in custody providing a statement.
