 On August 13 and 14, the Azad Hind and Duronto Express will follow a new route; find out why Railways made this choice


The Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express train number 12130 will take a diversion through Jalgaon-Vasai Road-Lonavla on 13 August. The South Eastern Railway made this choice in light of the Central Railway's development projects. From August 12 to August 14, East Coast Railway's Khurda Road Division will undergo development work. The Railways has cancelled 8 fast trains as a result.




Chakradharpur. The South Eastern Railway has opted to run the Azad Hind Express and Duronto Express on August 13 and 14 using the alternate route due to construction on the Central Railway. The Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express train number 12130 will take a diversion through Jalgaon, Vasai Road and Lonavla on 13 August, according to information we got from the Railways.


On the other side, the 14 August departure from Pune of train number 12129, the Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express, would take a diversion through Lonavla, Panvel, Vasai Road, Udhna and Jalgaon to get to Howrah. However, on August 14, the Lonavla-Panvel-Vasai Road-Udhna-Jalgaon diversion would be used by the 12221 Pune-Howrah Duronto Express to reach Howrah.


From August 12 to August 14, East Coast Railway's Khurda Road Division will undergo development work. The Railways has cancelled 8 fast trains as a result. The decision to run 24 trains on detoured routes has been made.


Due to construction projects in Khurda Road Division, the Purushottam Express, Tapaswini Express, Utkal Express, Rourkela-Gunupur Express, and Puri-Barbeel Express that travel through Chakradharpur Railway Division will run on alternate routes on various days. Ten express trains would arrive at Chakradharpur Railway Division an hour later due to operating on the new route.


These trains will travel a diversion

The 12802 New Delhi-Puri Express Purushottam Express will go through the diversion route Kapilas Road-Salgaon-Naraj Marthapur-Barang on 10 and 12.


Train No. 12801 Puri-New Delhi Express Purushottam Express will go through Barang-Naraj Marthapur-Salgaon-Kapilas Road on the alternate route from August 12 to August 14.


Train No. 18117 Rourkela-Gunupur Express will travel a diversion through Rajathgarh, Radhakishorepur, Naraj Marthapur, and Barang from August 11 to August 13. From August 12 to 14, Train No. 18118 Gunupur-Rourkela Express will travel a different route through Barang-Naraj Marthapur-Radhakishorepur-Rajathgarh. The 18451 Hatia-Puri Tapaswini Express will take a diversion through Rajathgarh, Radhakishorepur, Naraj Marthapur, and Barang Hote Puri from August 11 to August 13.


The 18452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express will take a diversion through Barang, Naraj Marthapur, Radhakishorepur, and Rajathgarh to get to Hatia from August 12 to August 14. The 18478 Yog Nagari Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express will take a diversion through Kapilas Road, Salgaon, Naraj Marthapur, and Barang on August 11 and 12.


The 18477 Puri-Yog Nagari Rishikesh Kalinga Utkal Express will travel a diversion through Barang-Naraj Marthapur-Salgaon-Kapilas Road from 12 to 14 August. Trains 18416 and 18415 Barbil-Puri-Barbil Express will go through the diversion route Kapilas Road-Salgaon-Naraj Marthapur-Barang from August 12 to August 14.
