On the Assistant Commissioner Product's orders, a campaign against illicit alcohol was launched on Saturday night in the city of Ranchi's police station neighbourhoods. The excise agency has detained twelve suspects as a result of this action. Along with this, a sizable amount of illicit domestic and international alcohol has also been found. Through a raid on the Horaf neighbourhood near the Tatisilwe police station, one suspect was captured.

Ranchi: On the Assistant Commissioner Product's orders, a campaign against illicit alcohol was initiated on Saturday night in several police station areas of the city's administrative centre, Ranchi. The squad from the excise department has detained a dozen suspects in this activity. During this, a sizable amount of illicit country-foreign alcohol has been found.

The police reportedly began a drive against illicit alcohol on Saturday in several Ranchi neighbourhoods. During this, a raid on the Horaf of the Tatisilwe police station area resulted in the arrest of an offender. Additionally, 600 litres of mulled wine were found at the location. Four of the accused left the scene simultaneously as soon as they learned the police's information.

Similar to this, two suspects were detained during a search of the ITBP Ring Road near the Kanke police station. During this, the accused was found to be in possession of 27 litres of foreign alcohol. The police also conducted a search of the Sahu Hotel on ITBP Ring Road based on the testimony of the apprehended suspect. From there, another suspect was also taken into custody.

After searching Road No. 2 Basco Nagar, which is part of the Jagannathpur police station area, one suspect was detained. 108 litres of foreign alcohol, a sizable number of cork lids, and an empty bottle were found at the accused's request. In addition to this, one suspect was taken into custody from Premnagar Singh Mod in Hatia OP.
