Garhwa. In Paparwa village, Bhikhi Panchayat, Danda police station area, Garhwa district, on Sunday afternoon, 14 individuals, including six children, were ill after consuming toxic khukri.


The injured include Asha Devi, the leader of the Danda block, her children Rohit, 7, and Khushboo, 13, as well as Chandan Chaudhary, the injured include Girdhari Chaudhary, the late father of Khushboo Kumari. Included are Ramchandra Chowdhary, Sukni Devi's father, Khela Chowdhary, his wife Pachiya Devi, son Birju Chowdhary, daughter-in-law Dhanpati Devi, granddaughter Supriya Kumari's father, 10, grandson Hrithik Kumar, 6, and Chhathni Devi's husband, Mukha Chowdhary.


Together, everyone consumed Khukdi's veggie

At the Sadar Hospital, every ill person is receiving care. Family members of the ailing persons said that the youngsters from Girdhari Chaudhary's home had brought the khukdi grown in Banswadi on Sunday morning. Following this, the aforementioned khukdi vegetable was cooked and served to a single or small number of neighbours in addition to being consumed by Girdhari Chaudhary's entire family.


After eating veggies, everyone started throwing up

Around 11 o'clock on Sunday, everyone ate veggies with their meals. After eating for almost an hour and a half, Dhanpati Devi began to vomit. Following this, 14 individuals began to throw up one by one.


All of the ill patients were then hastily transported to Sadar Hospital and admitted with the aid of the locals. Patients are being treated at Sadar Hospital, according to Dr. Amit Kumar, the hospital's deputy superintendent. Investigation that is required is being done.


Khukdi is an interesting kind of mushroom. The price of this chicken is higher than that of mutton. The price per kilogramme is around Rs 1200. The khukdi that grows in the woodlands is roasted with a variety of spices and served with roti or chavan.
