It happened on Friday morning. Police are analysing the situation as a possible love affair. The alleged reason for the event was a disagreement over getting married.


The lady also informed the police that the young man had phoned to arrange their final meeting at Sakchi's hotel. The young man picked him up outside MGM Hospital at four in the morning on Friday and rode him to the hotel while seated on a bike.


After that, the young guy lit himself on fire, and she was injured trying to save him. The youth's statement was not able to be taken by the police. Due of this, just one side has gained prominence. The Sakchi police station is looking into the circumstances surrounding the burning of both hotel rooms.


They are already acquainted

According to information provided to police, the young guy and the woman were already acquainted. The young person has been identified as East Plant Basti resident Rakesh Gupta, 23, of the Burmaines police station.


On the other hand, a 24-year-old lady lives in the Bhuiandih Chhayanagar neighbourhood of the Sitaramdera police station in Odisha, while her in-laws are in the Mayurbhanj district.


Father of the woman is a labourer. Two years ago, her spouse left her. Since then, she has been residing in the maiden. The young man had previously been in the same hotel in June with his female buddy. At TMH, the woman was questioned by Sakchi police, who also recorded her testimony.


In charge of Sakchi police station Late at night, Sanjay Kumar made his way to the hotel. gathered details regarding the issue from the hotel staff. The situation is suspicious, according to the station manager. The police have questioned both parties' family.


The teen had reserved the hotel's room 103 at 10 p.m. on August 17. The boy is employed as a milk supplier. His father is a golgappa vendor.


The young person had accomplished 80%

On Friday morning about 11 am, the acquaintance phoned the young man's family to let them know that Rakesh had been set on fire in the room.


The hotel personnel was stunned when they reached for the room, according to information. The youngster had 80% of his body burned. The woman's hands and stomach were both burned at the same time. Both were initially brought to Tinplate Hospital, from which point they were directed to TMH.


A woman is a child's mother

The woman admitted to knowing the young man when she spoke with the police. Both had already crossed paths. She just travelled from Odisha to her maternal home. He has a child as well.


Under duress, the young guy phoned him to the hotel on Thursday night. She arrived at the motel after dark. The young man argued with her and placed pressure on her to be married.


The young man then lit himself on fire. While rescue him, she also sustained burns. However, the Sakchi police claim that the young guy was unable to speak up, therefore it is unclear who compelled whom to be married.
