Building collapse in Iran leaves 4 dead and 11 wounded, according to a report

Tehran: According to local media on Monday, a number of buildings fell in the nation's capital, Tehran, causing the deaths of four Iranians, including two police officers, and at least 11 severe injuries.
In the southwest of the city, "unauthorised buildings" were scheduled to be demolished on Sunday, according to ISNA news agency, which reported at least three fatalities in the event.

One of the deadliest such instances in Iran occurred in May 2022, when a building collapsed in the southwest of the nation, killing 43 people.
The collapse of the 10-story Metropol skyscraper, which was under construction in the Khuzestan provincial city of Abadan, provoked nationwide demonstrations against corruption and inept government officials.
