Three nasty online criminals have been taken into custody by Jamtara Cyber Station police. The information provided by the accused during questioning is alarming. According to a police investigation, the accused used to obtain the personal information of influential persons in the country and those employed by large corporations from a person in Hyderabad before using that information to defraud others.

For a very long period, the accused were defrauding individuals based on these data information under the pretence of closing credit and upgrading its KYC.


Manoj Mandal of Sukhaltand, GNpur Anand Mandal, and Dinesh Mandal of Margomunda were taken into custody during the raid, which was conducted in the Deoghar district and within the jurisdiction of Karmatand police station.


8 cell phones and 11 SIM cards were taken

From the suspects, police seized 11 SIM cards and eight mobile phones. Manoj Mandal's police spent a lot of time searching in these for the person responsible for numerous significant crimes. The culprit has already been jailed and many cybercrime cases have been filed against him.


According to Jamtara Cyber DSP Majrul Hoda, the accused's cellphone numbers are being closely examined in order to determine their criminal tendencies and to compile a list of others who have already been duped. This situation is also under investigation, as are the individuals from whom these miscreants obtained the data they used to defraud.
