Apple distributes invitations for an event on September 12; a new iPhone 15 series is anticipated
At the presentation, Apple is most likely to introduce its newest iPhone 15 series.
Apple announced the date and location of its annual iPhone event in an invitation that was distributed on Tuesday. The event will take location on September 12 at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California. The invitation has the blue and gold Apple logo along with the word "Wonderlust."
The invitation from the tech giant was vague about the items that would be unveiled, but it is expected that Apple will introduce its next-generation iPhone 15 series during the event, which begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (10:30 p.m. IST).
Apple generally unveils new hardware items at the yearly event, most notably upgraded iPhone and Apple Watch models. The main event will, as usual, be on newer iPhones; four new models, including two basic iPhone 15 models and two high-end iPhone 15 Pro variations, are anticipated this year.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max model, which will include the company's first 10x optical zoom camera, is the most intriguing of them all. Additionally, it has been suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be renamed to the iPhone 15 Ultra. However, it is unclear if Apple will do away with the Max label entirely or whether it would introduce a new tier similar to the Apple Watch Ultra.
With the iPhone 15, Apple is also anticipated to make some significant design modifications, including the inclusion of USB-C. The Action button, which might replace the Ring/Silent switch on the side of the iPhone, has also been added to high-end iPhone models.
It's a physical button on the Apple Watch Ultra's side that, when pressed, launches a pre-selected programme or function.
It's interesting to note that the iPhone 15 series is anticipated to be Apple's priciest iPhone line ever. According to rumours, the price of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max may be more than that of their predecessors.
The event will likely be used by Cupertino to discuss the Apple Watch debut this year in more detail. However, this year's Watch lineup update could be more subdued. A second-generation Apple Watch Ultra and two Series 9 versions are anticipated from Apple. Later in the autumn, further Apple goods, such as a new iMAC all-in-one desktop, may be released.
Apple CEO Tim Cook and other executives usually take the lead during the iPhone launch presentation. Because the holidays are Cupertino's most crucial financial quarter of the year and when sales are normally at their peak, the company's new product line is anticipated to pave the way for an aggressive effort to broaden the Apple ecosystem. Of course, the most popular and in-demand product is the iPhone.
India and China, two nations where Apple has been aggressively establishing a big fan base of young, aspirational customers willing to pay a premium for its iPhones, will be crucial to the success of the iPhone 15 series. With the launch of the Vision Pro mixed-reality headset earlier in June, Apple has had a busy year.
