Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared an auction of all the items stored in national treasure a few days after the Toshakahana case decision, according to ARY News.

According to the specifics, PM Sharif stated that any proceeds from the Toshakhana gift will go towards helping the impoverished and defenceless.

However, all of the proceeds will only benefit the institutions that care for orphan children, whether they are social agencies, schools, or hospitals, he stated.

According to ARY News, Pakistan's prime minister told a delegation from the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), All the nation of Pakistan Newspapers The world (APNS), and Pakistan Broadcasters

PBA Association, "Under an agreement to support the orphans who are no longer able to handle the challenges of life, we will be turning them over." The coalition parties did not anticipate the severity of the crisis, he added, adding that the sitting administration inherited exceptionally difficult economic conditions.

According to ARY News, the Toshakhana, a department under the administrative jurisdiction of the Cabinet Division, was established in 1974 and houses priceless presents that international dignitaries and the presidents of other nations and states have given to monarchs, lawmakers, bureaucrats, and officials.

It is important to note that Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and a former prime minister, was detained in connection with the Toshakhana criminal case and given a three-year prison sentence.

On Saturday, August 5, an Islamabad trial court sentenced Khan, who was not present for the hearing, to three years in prison and assessed him a fine of (PKR) 100,000. The court was considering the ECP's criminal case against the PTI leader for withholding information on Toshakhana presents.

The Toshakhana case led to Khan's conviction for "corrupt practises" by the court.  According to the allegations, the PTI Chief "willfully and intentionally" concealed the advantages he received from the national budget, according to Dawn.

Notably, Punjab police detained Imran Khan at his apartment in Zaman Park, Lahore. Following his conviction in the Toshakhana case last week, Pakistan's highest electoral board on Tuesday banned the former prime minister of the nation for five years, according to Dawn.
