Two Janjgir Malkhamb players were honoured by the CM and given Rs 1 lakh 20,000


Akhilesh and Dimpy, two footballers from Janjgir, have received awards from the chief minister. The Chhattisgarh Olympic Association's Chief Minister's house is where this programme was conducted.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel honoured two exceptional players from the municipality Malkhamb Association, Janjgir Champa, Kumari Dimpy Singh Sidar, and Akhilesh Kumar, at a ceremony held at the chief minister's house and put on by the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association.


These athletes competed in the men's and women's divisions of Gujarat's 36th National Competition. This programme likewise included the same participants from 26 states. the bronze medal was won by the Chhattisgarh team. A sum of Rs 12,000 has already been transferred into the accounts of the competitors who brought medals on behalf of Bhupesh Sarkar prior to this. Additionally, a payment of $50,000 has been made straight to the bank accounts of the Khelo India Youth Game winners.


Pamgarh's second sports academy

CM Bhupesh Baghel was present for the event, where he spoke to the sports organisations and praised the kids. As a reward, a sum of 16 lakh 60 000 was offered. There are now sports academies in several of Chhattisgarh's districts. In which Narayanpur in the Bastar region is home to the new Malkhamb Sports Academy. It's probable that Pamgarh in the Janjgir-Champa district would also get a second sports academy. Chhattisgarh youngsters have so far won 24 medals at the national level. Two of these young athletes were recognised at the programme at the Chief Minister's house.

On this particular occasion, the Chhattisgarh Malkhamb Association president Premchand Shukla, general secretary Rajkumar Sharma, founder and head coach of the District Malkhamb Association Pushkar Dinkar, assistant coaches Prabhat Kumar along with Aklesh Narang, parents of the players, softball coach Sheetal Khande, and Raja Yadav were provide.
