Lucknow. In order to increase the effectiveness of Mission Shakti in safeguarding the safety, respect, and independence of women in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi administration has launched a special 10-day campaign. The Women and Child Protection Organisation is doing this campaign with the approval of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with the aim of empowering the women and girls of the state. This campaign, which got under way on Friday, July 21, will go through July 30. In order to stop crimes against women in the state and uphold their dignity, this campaign will also continue from the 21st to the 30th of every month.

In addition, this campaign will support the ongoing Mission Shakti Abhiyan in Uttar Pradesh for women's protection. The issues facing all the departments would be resolved by Shakti Didi. Anupam Kulshrestha, Additional Director General of Police, Women and Child Protection Organisation, stated that during the campaign, Shakti Didi (female constable) of the department will enlighten the women and daughters of the state about different welfare programmes of the government. Children will hear from Shaktipadi about good and negative touch

The Mahila Police Beat's officers will visit with victims of sexual offences during the campaign and offer any required counselling. Additionally, we will support them in every manner feasible in accordance with their needs.

Children will be informed about different child offences when visiting the schools (primary, upper secondary, and intermediate schools) in the beat area. Children will also be informed about appropriate and inappropriate touch in the meanwhile. Additionally, workshops will be planned for this by professionals. In addition to alerting their officers, they will make contact with several departments to find a solution.

We'll take action against the disorderly elements

Shakti didi would see that relevant Goonda Act provisions are used to take action against the anarchist elements during the campaign. Additionally, throughout the campaign for Shakti Didi, special camps will be held in cities to address women's issues through pink booths and outposts. At the pink booth, a one-stop solution camp may be set up after reviewing the issues facing women locally.
