Every evening, after leaving the car at the woman's house, Rooplal travels to his hamlet. He occasionally spends the night at the mistress's home as well.

According to police, the woman had been approached by the inebriated driver at night and demanded payment. The two got into a fight when the woman resisted giving them the cash. The driver then shot the victim in the stomach and fled. When they heard the uproar, the nearby residents fled and accepted the woman into the medical school.

The Nagar police station's officers arrived on the scene and began their investigation after getting the information. According to station in-charge Arvind Kumar, the woman has been sent to Dhanbad for medical care. There have been raids to look for the accused. The event is reported to have occurred because of a financial transaction.
