 Jharkhand: A court sentences six of the perpetrators of the $1,000,000 Ranchi heist to seven years in jail


Six defendants, including Anmol Singhania, who was found guilty of robbing Rs 1 crore from Obaria Road in the vicinity of the Jagannathpur police station, were given seven years in jail by the Additional Justice Dinesh Kumar court in Jharkhand. The court fined everyone Rs. 10,000–10,000,000. If the fee is not paid, everyone will have to serve an additional year in prison.




Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the Additional Justice Dinesh Kumar's court sentenced six defendants, including Anmol Singhania, to seven years in jail for stealing Rs 1 crore from Obaria Road in the Jagannathpur police station area.


The court fined everyone Rs. 10,000–10,000,000. All will be sentenced to an extra year in prison if the fine is not paid.


On the accusation of recovering money from robbery, the court punished Waseem Ahmed, Najmi Hasan, Manoj Kumar Bhagat, Jasim Ahmed, Zulfekar alias Raja Khan, and Anmol.


Anmol Singhania created a plot

On April 12, 2021, Mahua businessman Shubham Aggarwal filed a police report at the Jagannathpur police station following the incident. Anmol Singhania, a buddy of businessman Shubham Agarwal, devised the heist plot. Following the heist, the police found roughly Rs 90 lakh in the suspect's hiding place. Anmol, Najmi, and Jasim turned up loot worth Rs 73,59,750 to police, while Raja Khan turned over loot worth Rs 12,24,600.


There was strong proof offered

On the sixth day following the event, the police detained three of the defendants, but Raja Khan remained at large. He was detained by the police on October 11, 2021. Solid evidence was provided to the court by APP Parmanand Yadav during the hearing in the case.
