Girdih: A herd of 25 elephants wrecked havoc in six villages of Birni, destroying several homes and crops
Throughout the night and into the early hours of Saturday, a herd of 25 elephants caused havoc in the villages of Hardiya Dhab, Makhmargo, Manjhiladih, Gudditand, and Baratand, among others, in Birni of the Girdih district of Jharkhand. Muslims in Hardiya were participating in celebrations of the Muharram holiday. The locals panicked when they saw the elephants and fled in fear. In order to prevent admission into the community, a bonfire was built, and crackers and tin cans were banged.
Aiming for the homes of Ali Muhammad, Rehmat Ansari, and Ashiya Khatoon in the hamlet, the elephants burst the door. After that, Kamaruddin Ansari's and Abdul Rehman's paddy fields were damaged.
The people prepared ready for battle
The residents of the dhaba learned about this before the elephants departed Hardiya village. The locals kindled a bonfire outside the hamlet, exploding fireworks, and playing tin before the elephants arrived at the dhaba. They were unable to enter the settlement as a result, so they exited from outside and arrived at Makhmargo.
Even there, the locals' attention to detail prevented the elephants from entering the village. Around two in the morning on Saturday, the elephant travelled from there to Manjhiladih village. Sanjay Yadav, Kailash Vishwakarma, and Sukhdev Yadav's homes were attacked and destroyed there.
In the home were sleeping relatives. The kin rose as soon as the wall came down. The noises stopped coming out of his lips as he saw the elephants approaching, and he called the locals on his cell phone from inside the home. Then the locals came together and began chasing the elephants away from the settlement.
Elephants were sent into the jungle by the foresters
He had a terrible time being removed from the village. The elephants travelled from there to the villages of Gudditand and Baratand. In some way, Abodh Mahatha, Yogendra Prasad, and the forest department employees who were pursuing the elephant forced them into the Gudditand and Behrabad woods. After then, not even the forest employees are aware of the situation.
They may be in the woods of Gudditand and Behrabad, or they may have re-entered the Rajdaha forest in Saria, according to the employees' current speculation.
Abodh Mahatha, the Upvan Complex Officer for the Forest Department, advised anyone who had been injured by elephants to file a claim in the department's name.

Everyone will receive recompense from the department. Sitaram Paswan, the husband of ZIP member Sitaram Paswan, Pansas Anwar Ansari, and Vinod Paswan arrived to assess the extent of the elephants' harm. Birni Chief Ramu Baitha was also present. They promised the kin that they would receive compensation from the forest department, and they have sought prompt payment from the agency's executives.
